Thrifting has a big relation with fast Fashion is a clothing production practice that focuses on the speed of production in order to keep up with the latest fashion trends. To underdstand better what thrfiting is, we should also know what fast fashion applies to.
 Mass-produced in large quantities in order to reduce production costs as low as possible and get the highest profit. Issues inherent in the practice of fast fashion are humanitarian issues and environmental issues. The impact for consumers is that they unknowingly follow the development of fashion trends that are rolling very quickly so that they are always faced with consumerism and of course lead to the ownership of clothes that are beyond the required limits and have the potential to become textile waste that destroys nature.<\/p>\n

In fast fashion, it only takes 15 days from idea to launch on the market. Clothing was created as a primary need for its function to protect the human body. Therefore, collections of leading designers usually only appear 2-4x a year according to the season, because new clothes are needed when the seasons change, it’s impossible to wear summer clothes in winter, right? Over time, changing trends, lifestyles, and of course global business conditions have an impact on the function of this clothing. Clothing has become a business commodity, fashion trends change and then slowly turn into supporting objects because in essence the ownership of clothes is always in the required amount, this excess consumption is influenced by fast-moving fashion trends. New collections that come out 4x\/year can be 52x\/year.<\/span><\/p>\n

This fast fashion trend can be a boomerang for fashion world if there is no action taken to tackle it.
